Background information: Kim was on the hunt for own personal purpose and meaning. Her successful career in teaching that she loved just didn’t fit into her new lifestyle and while being a mother was her proudest role yet, she didn’t want to be defined as a mother alone. Kim wanted to create a safe space for parents that she had craved when first becoming a mother and turn that into both a business and lifestyle for her and her family.
The Brief: How to turn many circulating ideas, wants, needs and fears into a tangible business plan and get it ready for a successful launch? To ensure this business can be run alongside her other life’s commitments including raising her daughter and enjoying time with her step children and husband.

Results: Kim worked with MindStyle to turn her ideas into a business and in just four months those ideas turned into the public launch for The Pea Pod Arundel cafe for parents and children.
